Sweet Thai Basil

Sweet Thai has a well-endowed, clove-like licorice flavor with a hearty aroma well-complimented by the hot spicy flavors of Thai cuisine. Compact plants sport relatively small green leaves with dark purple stems and blossoms. Leaves span 2� on average and plants reach 12-18� tall at full maturity. Originally from India, basil made its way both west to Italy and east to Thailand and Vietnam and it features prominently in the cuisines of all these regions.
