Still one of the best! First developed by Rutgers University in 1934 in cooperation with Campbell�s Soup for the New Jersey canning industry. Although no longer a commercial standard it is still well loved by many. Bright red fruits average 6-8 oz, with a small seed cavity and good color throughout. Hearty tomato flavor and meaty texture. Works well as a slicing or canning tomato. Widely adapted and crack resistant. Determinate.
